Located in North Devon’s Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Camping@croydebay has the perfect location for those wanting a tranquil break. Wake up to beautiful views of Devon’s rolling countryside.

Choose from gravel hardstanding motorhome pitches with free water or grass tent and campervan pitches, most of which have the option to add electric hookups for a small daily fee. The campsite has great free WIFI, is sheltered yet sunny, and faces south toward the coast which is just a level ten-minute walk away.

None of our pitches are more than very gently sloping! For motorhomes and campervans, a standard set of chocks will probably not even be needed, but bring them by all means or borrow ours for free. (subject to availability)

Our pitches and rates explained at a glance

Pitches are predominantly level and a min of 7mx8m (Most are very level and even larger) Please let us know if you have an unusually large tent.
Pitch fees start at £20 per night and include the first person and their vehicle.
Additional fees apply for extra people/children/ electric hook up/extra cars/EV charging.
We do not charge for: Infants, Gazebos, Awnings, Pup tents.

Whether you choose to bring your motorhome, tent, campervan, roof tent or trailer tent, there is a pitch for everyone at our renowned campsite, tucked away between Croyde village and the beach.

Our pitches are level or very gently sloping and big enough for most large tents (approximately 8 m x 8 m, providing ample space to enjoy all the best of camping in Devon). We offer quick check-in/check-out to make your stay even easier.

Our stunning campsite in North Devon has lovingly maintained grounds and facilities with ample space for parking alongside each pitch. We have many 16-amp electric hookups available. Please remember to bring your own camping lead and adaptors.

                                                          We are especially proud of our new showers, toilets and covered wash-up area, which people have said are “more like glamping than camping”

There is a shaver point in the men’s section and hair dryers and hair straighteners in the ladies.

New for 2025, following the complete rebuild of the facilities, we now have four additional toilets and two new large family showers available for all.

There’s even an additional outside shower and wetsuit wash/drying area for the sandy kids or wave riders amongst you.

                                                          For your security, the vehicle gate is closed at night, but don’t worry about exploring North Devon by car in the evening; you will have the gate code.

Our motorhome pitches have a large carpet of artificial grass beside each gravel hardstanding. There is free drinking water at each pitch, and an optional electric hook-up.

There is even room for the little car you may have in tow at a small extra charge.

Electric car charging can be easily provided for a small fee. This is only available as an addition to your electric hook-up fees.
